Healthy Oestrogen Smoothie for Vagina Dryness and Painful Sex

It’s common for post menopausal ladies to suffer with vagina dryness and atrophy, which often leads to painful sex due to low oestrogen levels, also dry skin and joint pain!

As our sex hormones naturally lower, our endocrine system and the adrenal glands take over some of the production of oestrogen and other sex hormones.

When our endocrine system is balanced and we’re not suffering with adrenal fatigue, we tend to sleep well, have better energy levels, good mental focus, a normal sex drive and adequate lubrication for pain free sex.

Today, I want to share with you a delicious smoothie recipe, that I came across by The Integrative Women’s Health Institute, specifically designed for women with low oestrogen, vaginal dryness, joint pain, skin dryness, and painful sex.

Recipe:

1 cup spinach or other leafy greens

1/2 avocado

2 Tbsp flaxseeds

1 cup frozen berries

1-2 Tbsp sunflower, almond, or cashew butter

2 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond, coconut, or hemp milk

*To make this a complete breakfast smoothie add 1-2 scoops of this high quality protein powder.

Blend in a high speed blender.  Garnish with pomegranate seeds!
